CuraVision ABCs Xtreme Sports – Video Transcript

Hi, and welcome to episode X of the CuraVision ABC series. And today I’m going to be chatting about Mr. Xtreme Sports.

Xavier came to us in his early 40s. His BMI was fine. He was a non-smoker. He was a company director. And his extreme risk was that he was going to do a transatlantic yacht race. And it was a competition and it was due to try and be a record attempt as well. He was going to be on a non-powered sailboat for 11 days and he was with a crew as well. As a bit of a side note he also had coeliac disease. But the main thing was the yacht race.

So we spoke to Xavier. He told us his concerns from a personal side of things. Concerns from the business, from his point of view. And from his business partners. And we came up with a mixture of different policies to meet his needs.

So for Xavier we did policies that were over 20 years, each of them, just based upon his circumstances and what he required. So for the relevant life policy we arranged £500,000 worth of cover for around £38 per month. There was also a key man life insurance policy of £500,000 that was around £35 per month. There was then a separate key man life and critical illness policy of £350,000, which came to around £155 per month. And then there was a personal life and critical illness policy of £350,000 that came to around £140 per month.

In this video, I talk about Xavier who came to us needing personal and business protection. But, Xavier was due to take part in a transatlantic yacht race, and not just your regular race, he was going for a record! We looked at Xavier’s needs for his family, for his business and addressed the concerns that his business partners had too.
