Home » Frequently Asked Questions » Can I get Life Insurance with High Blood Pressure?
Answer:
It is possible to have Life Insurance with high blood pressure, at either normal or rated premiums depending upon the severity of the condition and other contributing factors. In order to proceed with your application you will need to provide us with your latest blood pressure readings (systolic and diastolic) taken within the last six months. If your blood pressure readings are less than 140 over 90, then you are likely to receive standard terms on your policy; provided that there are no other medical conditions or health risks to disclose. Higher readings may mean that cover may be subject to a premium loading. Very high readings can mean that cover may be postponed until under control.
