Most people over the age of 70 can take out Life Insurance. Where possible a standard Life Insurance policy (one which asks about your medical background) will probably provide you with the cheapest premium of the available policy types. An Over 50s Life Insurance policy is often more suited to those with significant medical disclosures, and a Whole of Life policy more relevant to those looking to cover funeral expenses.
