Breast Cancer - Stop Look Listen

Hi everyone. On this episode of Stop Look Listen, I would like us to chat about breast cancer. So, breast cancer, it really sucks, and it affects so many women. But it’s really important to know as well that it is gender neutral. It doesn’t care if you are genetically a man or a woman, it’s really important that whoever you are you need to know your boobs.

When it comes to early warning signs of breast cancer, there are quite a few different things that you can look out for. Like sort of the first thing you probably think of is kind of having a hard lump that you may be feeling there.

It could also be stuff like a growing vein on the area. It could be things like having an unexpected sort of liquid coming out of your nipple. It could also be having a sunken nipple.

Now, the charity Know Your Lemons have come up with the most amazing picture about early warning signs for breast cancer, and they’ve done it using lemons. And what they’ve said is basically look at these different shapes of lemons. If it’s something like this, then it’s a good idea to have maybe a chat with somebody professional about your boobs.

And I have to say, that a friend of mine called Emma saw this picture, and it led to her finding out that she had grade three breast cancer.
