Getting to know us better – March 2023 recap
Well March was a bit of a whirlwind with lots of compliance training on top of our usual workloads, the fun side of what we do!
Over the last year we have building a new system to support our existing clients. This is being led by our client relationship manager, Krystle Skelton. As well as reaching out to our clients each year to remind them about their insurance, we also highlight areas that mean that your insurance needs could have changed. Things like stopping smoking, a new mortgage, a new child, a new job, all can have a big influence upon the right insurances for you.
Krystle shares “Building this system has been incredibly rewarding as we are not only reaching out to people to remind them of their insurance, but actively reviewing policies too.
We speak to a lot of clients that have seen premium increases due to their medical history, work, travel or hobbies. Our systems now allow me to quickly spot any insurance policy that has been arranged on non-standard terms, so that I can check the market and see if a better policy is available.
We have already seen big improvements to policy options for people living with HIV, that have experienced cancer and have had high BMIs.
Being an adviser firm means that we are not just here to arrange policies and then move on to the next person to protect. We are here for the long run”.
